Caroline is the founder and creative force behind BLONDE.LAB by Caroline Rohwer. From product ideas to branding, from salon energy to tiny details – if it feels like BLONDE.LAB, it probably has Caroline’s fingerprint on it.
Originally from South Africa, she started her journey in 2004 with one goal: to build something of her own. Today, she runs multiple salons, launches her own products, and raises a three-year-old son – all with the same mix of drive, instinct, and clarity.
Caroline is known for her speed and precision, especially when it comes to classic highlights, but also for her approach to customised colouring. She rarely works with off-the-shelf formulas – every colour she creates is individually mixed and designed to suit the person in her chair.
Appointments with her aren’t just about hair. Somehow, deep conversations feel easy, confidence comes naturally, and you always leave with more than a good look: you leave with a smile and a spark.
She speaks English, Afrikaans and German.
Her mission? To make BLONDE.LAB a brand known far beyond the salons – one that helps blondes around the world feel confident, seen, and effortlessly at their best.
Fun fact: Caroline swears by her homemade Indian curry and thinks a proper ham sandwich solves most things. She says she’s naturally shy – but you’d never guess it, watching how effortlessly she lifts everyone around her.

Belinda started her hairdressing career at just 16 – though she won’t say how long ago that was (and we won’t ask). What began as something she more or less fell into quickly turned into a real passion, thanks to an incredible mentor who showed her the fun side of hair and helped her believe in her own hands and instincts.
Today, Belinda runs her own salon in Kilchberg (Belinda`s Hair Lounge), where she brings the same grounded energy and honest care that have become her signature. (And yes – if you’re wondering, she shares her love for the craft with her sister Caroline.)
She’s known for reviving overstressed hair – if you’ve pushed it too far, she’s the one who’ll help bring it back to life (as long as you’re ready to trust the process). No false promises, no fluff – just dedication, real talk, and the drive to keep learning and improving.
She speaks English, some Afrikaans, and a bit of German, and always aims to communicate with warmth and authenticity.
Outside the salon, you’ll likely find her on her motorbike, out in nature, or just winding down with something simple and grounding.
Fun fact: Belinda has a hidden talent for making people feel instantly at ease – no masks needed, just real human connection. Also, yes… she can touch the tip of her nose with her tongue. Not sure it’s useful, but it’s definitely memorable.

Renna has been in the hair game for over 20 years – and she knew from a young age that this was her path. Inspired by her glamorous grandmother, who always kept her hair and nails on point, Renna was blow-drying like a pro before most kids could braid. She’s been obsessed ever since.
Known in the salon as the “blonde hair fairy”, Renna also has a serious love for short pixie cuts, bobs, and coily/curly textures – both in cutting and colouring.
She brings good vibes, bold ideas, and an intuitive feel for beauty into every session. Clients in her chair can expect passion, precision, and probably a laugh or two along the way.
Renna speaks English, Estonian, and German – and when she’s not creating magic in the salon, she’s dancing, cooking, travelling, or treasure hunting at the farmers market for fresh veggies and flowers.
Fun fact: She’s a Sudoku queen, loves colouring kids’ books for fun, and is a total disaster at baking (but owns it with pride 🫶🏻).

Laura began her hair journey in 2010, driven by a love for creativity and a passion for helping people feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.
In the salon, she’s known for her balayage and colour expertise, as well as her sharp men’s cuts. Her chair is a space of positivity, professionalism, and zero judgment – always welcoming and full of good vibes.
Fluent in English and French, Laura brings a truly international flair – having lived in many different countries, she connects effortlessly with people from all cultures.
Outside the salon, she loves to hike, practices martial arts, and makes music with her guitar and voice.
Fun fact: Laura’s travelled the world and lived in seven different countries – collecting stories, styles, and a whole lot of inspiration along the way.

Stefanie knew early on where she was headed – and made it happen. She began her hairdressing journey at just 14 and now, with nearly 10 years of hands-on experience, she brings precision, creativity, and a true passion for hair into every appointment.
Born and raised in Hamburg, she moved to Switzerland at 20 to grow, challenge herself, and explore new horizons. In the salon, she’s known for her sharp eye, attention to detail, and modern sense of style.
Her clients value her honest, open way of working and the real connections she builds. Sitting in Stefanie’s chair means being truly seen, heard – and styled with purpose.
She speaks Portuguese, German, and English fluently and loves working with people from all backgrounds.
Fun fact: She can flare her nostrils on command – a skill she mastered as a kid because her brother was convinced it was absolutely essential to survive.
-
Jirina has been in the hair industry for over 10 years, and her passion started early. Inspired by her hairstylist mother and her first internship at a salon called Haarsturm, she quickly knew this was her path. She loves to create and bring people joy through hair.
She’s known for her colour transformations and the way she personalizes every look using a mix of techniques. Styling is another strong suit – she knows how to finish a look with flair.
Clients in Jirina’s chair can expect good energy, fun, and full attention. She’ll not only make you smile, but also treat your hair with care – from custom masks to relaxing head massages.
She speaks Swiss German, High German, and what she humbly calls “quite decent English.”
Outside the salon, she’s a proud shopaholic and gamer, loves Netflix nights, and is an active voice for the queer community.
Fun fact: Jirina once shared the stage with Lady Gaga, her all-time idol. And as a perfume collector, she’ll probably guess your scent before you even tell her.

Mark brings over 20 years of cutting experience – and a truly calm, steady energy – to every appointment. Originally from England, he was trained at the renowned Toni & Guy Academy, where he learned to pair technical precision with creativity and wit.
A true cutting specialist, Mark focuses solely on haircuts – no colour, no distractions – just sharp lines, great shape, and personalised style. Whether it’s a subtle trim or a full transformation, his golden rule stays the same: never compromise on the client’s vision.
Clients love his relaxed but intentional vibe, his signature sense of humour, and his respect for what hair really means to a person. You’ll leave his chair feeling confident, seen – and ready to take on the day.
Fun fact: Mark has a thing for bold, standout sneakers – you’ll probably notice them before he even says hello. Just like his work: classic foundations, with a personal twist.

Olga has been in the hair industry for many years, and her passion started early. Originally from Latvia, she has called Switzerland home for over 15 years, shaping her craft through decades of hands-on experience and a deep appreciation for beauty.
She’s known for her precision and technical expertise, especially when it comes to complex cutting techniques and advanced colour work. From challenging colour corrections to refined blonding services, Olga approaches every appointment with focus, care, and a strong sense of artistry.
Clients in Olga’s chair can expect honesty, attention to detail, and a calm, confident approach – especially when it comes to more complex transformations.
She speaks Latvian and Russian fluently and is currently refining her German.
Outside the salon, Olga enjoys travelling, spending time in nature, and being with close friends and family. She is also a very proud and devoted grandmother.
Fun fact: Her love story with horses began in childhood – to her, they embody elegance, beauty, and perfection, and she once dreamed of dedicating her life to equestrian sport.
-
Slava’s journey didn’t start in the salon – he first studied computer science at university. But after a break year spent exploring hair, he discovered where his true passion lies. It didn’t take long to realise: his heart belonged in the salon, not in front of a screen.
Since then, he’s fully committed to the craft. Calm, focused, and full of stories, Slava brings precision, good energy, and quiet depth to every appointment. His chair is more than just a place for great hair – it’s a space where real conversations happen, and where clients often leave saying they’ve just had the best talk of their week.
Behind that calm presence lies a competitive edge: Slava has won dozens of regional tournaments in basketball and esports, and later took part in hairdressing competitions that shaped his eye for detail, creativity, and image. Working alongside champions in hair and makeup gave him insights that still influence his approach today.
He speaks English, German, Ukrainian, and Russian, and when he’s not behind the chair, you’ll find him fishing by the lake, shooting hoops, freediving, or cooking for friends – preferably outdoors.
Fun fact: Most people only see the tip of the iceberg. But for those who sit in Slava’s chair and bring curiosity and openness – there’s a whole world beneath the surface. And if you’re ready, he’ll take you there.

Cyrille has been in the hair industry since 1990, starting his training at a hairdressing school in Marseille.
Early in his career, he attended one of the leading international hair and beauty events in Paris (MCB), where British hairdressers inspired his approach. Since then, he has worked internationally in places like London, Saint-Tropez, Saint Barts, Paris and Tuscany.
He focuses on dry cutting first, creating shape before adding colour only where needed. His freehand balayage is intuitive and always tailored to the individual. For clients with greying hair, he has a refined eye for recreating tones that feel like their natural colour from younger years.
In Cyrille’s chair, clients can expect a result that brings out their natural beauty in a subtle, lasting way.
He speaks French and Italian, and a little English.
Outside the salon, Cyrille enjoys music, art, and nature. He loves concerts, discovering new places, and creating new dishes with Mediterranean flavours in the kitchen.
Fun fact: Originally, he wanted to become a landscape gardener – a path that still influences his work today. For him, cutting hair is not so different from shaping a tree.
-
Danijel has been in the hair industry since 2000, but he knew much earlier that this would be his path. Growing up around his mother’s work as a beautician, he spent a lot of time in the salon – and was already styling her hair long before it officially became his job.
He enjoys every part of the craft, from cutting to colouring and highlights, and brings a well-rounded, hands-on approach to his work.
Clients in Danijel’s chair can expect a relaxed atmosphere, good energy, and a result that’s tailored to them.
He speaks Serbian, English, German, and Swiss German.
Outside the salon, Danijel likes to stay active – whether it’s swimming, going for walks, playing table tennis, or going to the cinema.
Fun fact: Danijel can move different parts of his face independently – from his ears (yes, even just one) to his nostrils.

Roisín isn’t a hairdresser – but she’s been part of the beauty world for years. As a trained beauty therapist and receptionist with over five years of experience, she’s often the first warm, welcoming face (or voice) clients encounter when connecting with us.
Originally from Ireland, she discovered her love for skincare while living there – and has been helping people feel confident and relaxed ever since. At the Caroline Rohwer Beauty Salon in Kirchberg and Zürich, she now offers expert facials, lash and brow treatments, and calming beauty rituals – because beauty doesn’t stop at the hairline.
Fluent in English and Irish, Roisín is known for her kind presence, calm energy, and incredible memory when it comes to the little things clients love.
Fun fact: She’s a manualist – you might have to Google that one, but it’s a party trick worth seeing.
-
Sharon isn’t behind the chair – she’s the one shaping everything you see around it. She leads marketing at BLONDE.LAB, bringing the brand to life across every platform and making sure it always feels current, relevant, and unmistakably us.
With a strong eye for visuals, storytelling, and branding, she’s constantly finding new ways to present our work, our services, and our products. From social media to campaigns and creative concepts, Sharon develops and drives everything that defines how BLONDE.LAB shows up online.
She moves between strategy and creativity with ease – always thinking ahead, refining, and evolving the brand while staying true to its core.
She speaks Swiss German, High German, English, and Italian, and still understands a little French from her school days.
Outside of work, Sharon is a Pinterest girl at heart – drawn to vintage finds, character, and anything made with intention and soul. She loves good food, travelling, and capturing simple moments that later turn into ideas.
Fun fact: She once appeared in a Migros commercial – and if you look closely, you might even spot her in our very first “The Perfectionist” campaign, long before she joined BLONDE.LAB.
